I thought a colorful photo montage entry might be fun, showcasing the loveliness of spring time in my neighborhood. With summer time right on its heels (woo hoo!! Finally!!). Meaning of course, the invitation of so many of the wonderful things in life.
Reading outdoors, sprawled on a blanket in parks and cozied up outdoors on cafes patios. Light breezes rustling ones hair, tickling the skin on your arms and legs, a momentary respite from the heat of the day. Summer dresses and sandals. Feelings of carefree excitement, longer days seeming to stretch on endlessly, anything being possible and romance, dancing in the air. The beach and swimming. The warmth of summer sun. Heaping bowls of salad in all manner of bright colors and crunchy veggies. Juicy, ripe fruits (mango, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, so yummy). Lightly tanned skin. Flowers. Painted toenails. Strappy heels. Summer nights. Laughter and drinks with friends after dark. Long walks. Picnics. Ice cream covered in rainbow sprinkles.
Man, oh man. Summer is just the BEST!!!
Without further ado, my neighborhood decked out in its springtime splendor. I cannot believe in just 3 months, I will be leaving it. Yes, a major, mucho, big time announcement is coming within the next couple of blog entries. So get ready and stay tuned ;-D
In the meantime, summer, here we come!!!
